So, my personal email was recently targeted for hacking twice in the past week, one time resulting in unintended spam mail for online shopping deals being sent to my email address book of personal contacts. It happens, and it's nothing new. I got a few joke replies, but everyone was cool about it. Of course, I sent out an "It wasn't me, I'm sorry for the spam," email. But that's not the main point here.
What really got my attention was something that I noticed this morning.
The email provider I use practices the art of keyword searching all of it's users in and outgoing emails and web searches in order to run enticing url link banners at the top of your email home page. The url link at the top of my home page this morning: Ginger Spam Salad: Serves 1, refrigerate overnight.
Aloha!
